Monster & Me Essentials With Instructions

PLEASE BE WARNED THAT YOU SHOULD GET USE TO THE ENGLISH CLIENT BEFORE RUNNING THE CHINESE CLIENT. ALTHOUGH MUCH OF IT HAS BEEN TRANSLATED IN THIS VERSION TO ENGLISH THERE ARE STILL MANY ELEMENTS THAT ARE IN CHINESE AND WILL CONFUSE THOSE NOT FAMILIAR WITH THE LAYOUT OF THE GAME.

First of all if you do not have M&M installed double click the M&M20070208 exe. file and install it now.

Run the program and let it update to current version patch.

With this done we can begin setting up your computer to run the Chinese Client.

Go to your control panel (Start/Control Panel)

Once your computer is restarted go back to Regional and Languages Settings

Now we have the basics to run the Chinese Client without white out and distorted screen size.

You now need to browse to your installed location of M&M. The default location is C:\Program Files\Monster & Me 2.5.

Once you have this folder open ... Select the Edit function (second from top left) as demonstrated here:

Choose the Select All function then Select the Edit function again and choose the Copy function.

Now Press the Up function as shown here. This should put you in you Program Files folder. Right click and choose to make a new folder and name it mm Chinese or something similar. Open the mm Chinese folder, right click and choose the Paste function. Be patient as this may take several minutes to complete.

Now go back to the supplied folder and open the Chinese client folder. Copy all files as shown above and paste it into your new folder as before. This time however be aware of the follow warning :

Once again go back to supplied folder. This time open the ini folder and copy the files inside as shown above.

You now have the workings set-up and ready to be used! Congrats!

To wrap all this up we now need to make all the necessary shortcuts to your desktop. Open up the supplied folder and I'll walk you through this with a few more pictures.

The last shortcut you need is in the mm chinese folder we created. Open it up and find the file named 4048.

For those of you use to the English version, there is a slight difference in how you have to log in. At the prompt enter your account name and password, click enter, click enter, click enter (that is click enter 3 times) and you'll log in no problem.

Your desktop should end up looking something like the following picture : NOTE: Run the client first, then run the bot(s) as they log into your Chinese client. Be careful, there is sometimes oddball names in list of choices...be sure to choose your correct login.
